Palermo, what a blow: annihilated in Catanzaro
News: GazzSport – Palermo, what a blow: annihilated in CatanzaroAs Andrea Celia Magno writes, Catanzaro overwhelms Palermo with a sensational 3-0 in the Serie B playoff semi-final first leg and transforms the Giallorossi's dream of promotion into the nightmare of Filippo Inzaghi's team. According to Andrea Celia Magno in the Gazzetta dello Sport, Catanzaro annihilated Palermo in terms of play, intensity, cynicism and personality. From that moment, says Andrea Celia Magno, Palermo was practically no longer able to get into the match. Palermo is feeling the pinch heavily – underlines Andrea Celia Magno on the squad – and continues to suffer from the offensive movements of Iemmello and Liberali between the lines. In fact, the hat trick comes after another quality action from the Giallorossi: construction from below by Pigliacelli, finishing again by Iemmello and a winning conclusion by Liberali, who sends Ceccaroni out of gear and beats Joronen with a soft left foot.
