PLAYOFF and PLAYOUT SERIES C 2020-2021 CHAMPIONSHIP
In relation to the Play-Off and Play Out matches scheduled from 9 MAY 2021 to 13 JUNE 2021, it is considered appropriate to bring back the legislation regarding the promotion and relegation criteria for the 2020-2021 sports season, of which aiCom. Office n. 114 / A of 12.11.2020 and n. 164 / A of 05.02.2021 of the F.I.G.C. (Com. Uff. N. 65 / L of 13.11.2020 and n. 125 / L of 05.02.2021 of Lega Pro).
I) PROMOTION CRITERIA The teams ranked first in each group of the Serie C Championship are promoted directly to Serie B. The winner of the Play-Offs is promoted to Serie B as the fourth team.
II) PLAYOFF The Play-Offs will be played by the 28 teams that, at the end of the regular season, are ranked from second to tenth place of the three groups, as well as by the team positioned in eleventh place in the group in which the best fourth classified is present, pursuant to the provisions of paragraph VI, among the three groups.
The development of the Play-Off matches will be divided into three distinct phases, with access conditions determined as follows:
