Pohjanpalo, the goal killer who keeps Palermo hooked to the Serie A…
News: Palermo relies on its most precious man to dream of direct promotion. Joel Pohjanpalo is the driving force behind the Rosanero in this fiery end to the season: 21 goals to his name, top scorer numbers and an impact on the results that goes far beyond simple statistics. With him on the pitch, Palermo built on most of their victories, remaining hooked to the train that leads to Serie A. An unsurprising recognition: Pohjanpalo is the offensive reference point around which Inzaghi builds his maneuver and chances of victory. The next few weeks will tell if Palermo will be able to exploit him to the full, but one thing is certain: as long as Pohjanpalo is fit, the rosanero will always have a chance.
