News: Palumbo's centrality will be even more evident in the new tactical structure imagined by Filippo Inzaghi. Alessandro Geraci on Repubblica Palermo explains in fact that the coach is oriented towards definitively abandoning the 3-4-2-1 to develop a system based on a four-man defence, with variations that can oscillate between 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1. The contract expiring in 2028 ifies to Palermo's desire to build its future around the qualities of Palumbo, considered one of the pillars of the new technical course. The expulsion suffered at the end of the playoff semi-final against Catanzaro will in fact force the midfielder to miss the first two days of the new season.
