Sampdoria, Mancini defends Brunori: «He and Coda scored 100 goals in…
News: Regarding the choice to focus on Brunori and the goal situation, Mancini explained: «We have two strikers (him and Coda) who, combined, have scored more than 100 goals in the last two years. We intervened because we noticed some difficulty in finishing and we tried to intervene by putting players who could bring us goals. I understand that it’s not the Brunori we’re used to, but he arrived three weeks ago from a place where he didn’t play much. Then we can all give more but I’m happy with him.” It depends a lot on him, I talk to him almost every day and then it’s the pitch that speaks but the trust in him is great.
