Semplici bets on Palermo: “They are the team to beat in Serie B”
News: Leonardo Semplici sees Palermo as the main favorites for promotion to the next Serie B. The coach, who boasts almost 450 professional benches in his career, expressed his point of view on the cadet championship in an interview granted to Corriere dello Sport. “Palermo is the team to beat. Then there are the relegated teams, but it's always difficult to get back up immediately", declared Semplici, indicating the rosanero as the reference team at the starting line of the 2026/27 season. Semplici finally focused on the reforms necessary for Italian football, underlining the importance of investing in young people. We need an investment from the Federation to reward, in Serie A, B and C, the clubs that let our talents play.
