TMW: “Palermo, the pressure for Trimboli continues”
News: Palermo continues to work to strengthen the midfield and does not give up on the path that leads to Simone Trimboli. Despite the arrivals of Nahuel Estevez and the probable addition of Hernani, the Rosanero club is determined to add another element in midfield. According to what was reported by Alessio Alaimo of TuttoMercatoWeb, Palermo is intensifying the pressure for the Mantova midfielder born in 2002, protagonist of two excellent seasons in Serie B with 71 appearances and three goals. The goal of the Sicilian club is to anticipate the competition from Avellino and Sampdoria, both interested in the player, and to provide Filippo Inzaghi with a quality alternative in the middle of the pitch. Mantova, for its part, would like to retain Trimboli, whose contract expires in 2027, but Palermo's growing interest could accelerate the evolution of the negotiation.
