Venice, Stroppa: “We were disorderly, the goalkeeper saved us”
News: Giovanni Stroppa, coach of Venezia, spoke at the press conference after the victory at the “Penzo” against Carrarese, which led to the overtaking of Frosinone a week before the direct clash. The lagoon coach gives his point of view on the match, with Venezia struggling more than usual against a good Carrarese team: “It was certainly our usual performance, but sometimes we were disorderly. The accident fits, Stankovic saved us in the end.” The eye can only fall on the match on February 7th at 3.00 pm, where Venezia will go on to challenge Frosinone to maintain their lead in the standings. Stroppa and Venezia are ready: “They have always been ahead of us, next week we will see if we can continue our streak as they have done up to now.
