Verona, Baroni's return is official: contract until 2028

News: The yellow-blue club has announced the hiring of the Florentine coach, who will lead the First Team starting from July 1st. Baroni has signed a contract until 30 June 2028, with an option for a further season until 2029. For the coach it is a return to a place he knows very well, having already led Verona in the 2023/24 season, which ended with salvation in Serie A and a thirteenth place finish. His connection with Verona began as a footballer: Baroni wore the yellow and blue shirt from 1995 to 1998, collecting 93 appearances and 9 goals between Serie A, Serie B and the Italian Cup. In the top flight he also achieved salvation at the helm of Lecce and Hellas Verona.
