For the first time in its history, Palermo chosen to equip itself with a private sports center.
The plant was built in the hills of Torretta about 20 kilometers from the city.

The Torretta facility, consists of two natural grass pitches identical to the pitch of the Renzo Barbera stadium to obtain the same conditions in training and matches.
In addition to this, a main building was created with offices, a restaurant and meeting rooms and a clubhouse with gyms, physiotherapy and recovery studios.
Initially it will be used exclusively by the first team, but in the coming years it will be further expanded to bring the activities of the youth sector and the women’s team.
