Match Day, debut of Serie B Brescia vs Palermo
Alessio Dionisi speaks, before the debut of Serie B match against Brescia
The Palermo coach speaks on the eve of the match against Brescia, the league debut and the first match of the new Serie B championship.
The coach talks about the opponent, fresh from the great victory in the Italian Cup against Venezia, but confirms that the rosanero are doing well and want to get a result on the Rondinelle pitch.
Dionisi then also dedicates a thought to the return to Palermo, with the open-door training session scheduled for August 21.
Here we are, we are finally starting.
We are ready, we are arriving at the match against Brescia as I hoped we would.
We are happy to begin, the journey is long, and we would like to make an impact from the beginning.
Furthermore, we will get what we deserve. It will be the first match for the Serie B, so it will be doubly exciting.
The match against Brescia must be approached with the right attitude.
They are a very organized team, who did very well in the pre-season.
We have been working well from the start, I am very happy with the lads.
The opponent is valuable, they will want to do their best in front of their fans.
Both we and they managed to get through the round in the Cup, they played an important match against Venezia.
We respect Brescia, we know they will be an organized team, but we have the qualities to get a positive result.
Open-door training? It will be nice to return to Palermo, I was only there for three days.
The team, for organizational reasons, did not return, so we are happy.
We want to unite the fans and the team into one.
