Before the restart, Picerno replaced Di Dio by sending Senesi to the field in his place. Immediately after the referee blows his whistle, the match restarts. Only two minutes pass and Palermo scores the 2-0 goal! Brunori shoots from the edge of the opponent’s penalty area without hesitation, tracing a perfect trajectory! Ball under the intersection just deflected by Albertazzi and double advantage of the rosanero. At 53 ′ Mr. Colucci sends De Ciancio in place of Viviani.
Palermo drops the trio at minute 64! Brunori receives the ball and looks for Floriano on the far post who controls the ball with his right hand and kicks on the fly with his left diagonally beating Albertazzi again. Three minutes later Picerno made some more substitutions: Alcides Dia and Esposito left the pitch, giving way to Allegretto and Reginaldo.
In the 72nd minute Luperini receives the ball from Valente inside the small area, his goal on goal arrives late and is blocked by the opposing defense, the referee whistled the offside anyway. At 77 ‘Brunori leaves the field to the applause of those present at the “Barbera”, Soleri enters his place. And it is precisely the number 27 of the rosanero who brings poker in favor of Palermo!
A little further than halfway through the field, Soleri notices Albertazzi out of the goalposts and kicks into the goal, scoring a goal from the film library! Immediately after, Gerardi gives way to Carrà. Following coach Nardini replaces Luperini and Floriano with Fella and Silipo. The last substitutions for the rosanero see Odjer and Felici enter the field, taking the place of De Rose and Valente.
