The teams enter the pitch, hosts in all-white kits, while the pinks will play in their black away kit. The referee Fourneau blows the whistle for the match to begin: Palermo kicks off the match.

In the 5th minute Sudtirol immediately took the lead with Cissè, a super goal from the Bolzano attacker who, on the bank of Odogwu’s head, fired a very powerful fireball on the fly on which Pigliacelli was unable to do anything.

Great goal from the hosts who unlock the match despite the good start of the pinks.

In the 7th minute, Sudtirol was very close to doubling the lead: Odogwu on the left disoriented Graves in the area and finished with his right foot, finding Pigliacelli’s rebound.

In the 9th minute, physical problems for Graves, the Dane is unable to continue the match and is forced to make a substitution: Marconi in for him.

At minute eleven Palermo also responds with Di Mariano who, on Tutino’s back bank, starts a broadside which finds a good save by Poluzzi for a corner.

In the 14th minute, the first yellow card of the match for Saric, forced to bring down Belardinelli after he had stolen the ball from him in midfield.

It’s the 18th minute and Sudtirol is still close to doubling the lead with a quick counter-attack, Odogwu with the ball who always from the right goes to a powerful but central shot that Pigliacelli rejects.

Very lively game at the “Druso” in Bolzano, with continuous reversals of the front and sparkling rhythms that make the match quite enjoyable.

Unlucky for Palermo who had to give up Sala due to injury in the 22nd minute, instead Masciangelo made his debut in the rosanero jersey.

After half an hour of play, the ball was firmly in Palermo’s possession, but it was difficult to find space against a very closed and compact Sudtirol, also thanks to the advantage gained after a few minutes.

In the 31st minute, the second yellow card of the match, Masciangelo booked for simulation in the Sudtirol penalty area.

After two minutes of added time and a final stingy with emotions, the first half ended at the “Druso” in Bolzano, the hosts ahead thanks to Cissé’s goal after just five minutes.

Impact of an important match for Soleri who, after the equal goal, continues to put the Sudtirol rearguard in difficulty, finding, in the 55th minute, a nice bicycle kick which is rejected for a corner by the opponents.
